Te .gitignore: *.log injoron çdo .log, /build vetëm dosjen në rrënjë, build/ çdo dosje me atë emër, **/temp kudo, dhe !e-rendesishme.log e përjashton nga rregulli. Skedarët që janë tashmë në Git s'injorohen — duhet git rm --cached.

In .gitignore: *.log ignores every .log, /build only the root folder, build/ any folder with that name, **/temp anywhere, and !important.log excludes it from the rule. Files already in Git aren't ignored — you need git rm --cached.
