Anotacionet janë shënime me @ që u japin informacion shtesë kompajlerit ose framework-eve — p.sh. @Override, @Test ose @GetMapping te Spring-u. Vetë s'e ndryshojnë kodin, por mjetet i lexojnë dhe veprojnë sipas tyre.
