Një bug kalon nëpër gjendje: I ri → I hapur/caktuar → Në rregullim → I rregulluar → Në ritestim → I mbyllur (ose I rihapur po ende s'punon). Mund të jetë edhe „S'është bug“ ose „S'do të rregullohet“.

A bug moves through states: New → Open/Assigned → In progress → Fixed → Retest → Closed (or Reopened if it still fails). It can also be “Not a bug” or “Won't fix”.
